Why the current system MUST change
The courts belong to us, the Citizens.
The current system is an "old boys group" run by attorneys.
Every minute of every day, decisions are made by the courts that impact our lives.
Judges are using their "judicial discretion" to allow people with multiple drunk driving convictions to continue to drive - and because of this people have died.
In Ramsey County, the judge sealed the evidence in a case. The evidence proves chemical contamination caused by Ramsey County may have harmed thousands of people - and no one knows because the judge sealed the evidence.
Judges have decided that the judges are not accountable when they harm people.
The Minnesota Supreme Court has challenged the Legislature, saying that what the judges decide in the courts is above the law that the Legislature created - and the judges' law stands until the Legislature corrects the judge.
We need to correct the judges.
We need our law upheld, the law created by the people that we elected to create our law. We elected the Legislature to create our law, not the judges.
